About the author
Charan Shikh, MD
Internal Medicine · Longevity Medicine · Atlanta, Georgia
Charan Shikh, MD is a physician in Internal Medicine with more than forty years of clinical practice and a focus on longevity, preventive, and aesthetic medicine.
In 2002 he founded Jawani — a longevity and wellness practice in Atlanta guided by the belief that medicine’s highest purpose is not only to treat disease, but to protect the vitality that makes life worth living.
Over his career he has helped thousands of patients navigate metabolic health, hormonal transitions, cardiovascular and cognitive health, and the full spectrum of healthy aging. His clinical work sits at the intersection of Internal Medicine, preventive care, and the emerging science of longevity medicine.
He became a father to twins at 55. In that moment, every abstract idea he had spent four decades forming about aging became achingly personal — and the urgency to write this book became impossible to ignore.
The Longevity Blueprint is the result of that lifetime of clinical experience, distilled into the most practical and evidence-based guide he could write. It is the book he wishes every one of his patients had read before they needed to see him.
Jawani — Atlanta, Georgia
In 2002, Dr. Shikh founded Jawani, a longevity and wellness practice in Atlanta. The name Jawani — meaning youth, vitality, and the fullness of life — reflects the practice’s core philosophy: that the goal of medicine is not merely to extend years, but to fill them.
Jawani brings together Internal Medicine, longevity science, preventive care, hormonal medicine, and aesthetic medicine under one roof — guided by the belief that protecting the vitality that makes life worth living is medicine’s highest purpose.
